Donetsk, Sep 18 — DAN. Russia’s Gross Domestic Product has come to the 2021 level, President Vladimir Putin said at a budget 2024-2026 meeting on Monday.
“In general, we can say that the revival stage of the Russian economy is completed, ” the Kremlin website quoted Putin as saying. “We have withstood absolutely unprecedented pressure, the sanction onslaught by certain ruling elites in the so-called western bloc — the ruling elites in some countries that we call unfriendly.”
Russia’s GDP has come to the 2021 level, and now it is important to create conditions for further stable long-term growth, the president said.
Putin also noted increasing investments in core assists and stable implementation of budget 2023.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin earlier said that Russia was consolidating the emerging economic growth.*jk
