Donetsk, Apr 20 — DAN. Russia’s Promsvyazbank (PSB) will provide assistance to manufacturers in the new regions in joining the government procurement system, PSB Deputy Chairman Konstantin Basmanov said at the “Goszakaz” (public procurement) exhibition-forum on Thursday.
“PSB will hold a round-table meeting with suppliers at the forum, including companies from the new regions that wish to join the government procurement system, ” Basmanov said. “We’ll draw proposals together with the authorities of the new regions on transition measures to enable suppliers to participate in the government procurement system, and forward the proposals to legislative bodies.”
Enterprises in the new regions need consultations and legal support, he added.
Earlier reports said that DPR authorities were exploring government procurement opportunities for small and medium businesses.*jk
