Donetsk, Apr 27 – DAN. One hundred and nine enterprises of the agricultural industry located in liberated territories of the DPR have been officially registered as Republican entities, the Ministry of Agro-Industrial Policy and Food said.
The vast majority of enterprises, about 88 pc, specialize in crop production, namely the cultivation of cereals, legumes, oilseeds, melons, vegetables, root crops and tubers.
Approximately 6 pc specialize in essential products, in particular bread and bakery products. There are also enterprises producing butter and animal fats, soft drinks and mineral waters.
In addition, about 4 pc of enterprises are engaged in animal husbandry: breeding sheep and goats, pigs and poultry.
As reported earlier, DPR farmers sowed about 3,000 hectares of liberated land with barley and peas. *ot
