Donetsk, Dec 16 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic authorities will allocate some 1.4 billion rubles for repairs and development of social infrastructure in 2022, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said at a conference on Thursday which summed up the results of DPR towns and districts development in the outgoing year.

“The DPR Construction and Housing and Utilities Ministry and the administrations of DPR towns and districts are tasked with timely implementation of the measures to improve the operating efficiency of social infrastructure facilities and repair houses,” Pushilin said. The project, worth 1.372 billion rubles, covers 432 structures.

Repairs will run on 66 apartment houses, 69 roofs, 110 elevators, 54 houses and 130 social infrastructure facilities. The DPR plans to complete the construction of the second phase of the 9.3-kilometer gas pipeline to Debaltsevo, build a boiler house as part of the Zugress heat supply system upgrade, repair the rundown section of the Torez water mains, complete sewage construction in Yenakiyevo’s neighborhood of Karlo-Marksovo, renovate the Yuzhnaya pumping station in Shakhtyorsk etc.

Pushilin also ordered the heads of DPR towns and district to ensure timely repairs of 642 kilometers of roads. The Republic is investing  970 million rubles in road repairs. *jk
