Donetsk, May 13 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic food produces and processing industry have significantly increased production in the first quarter, the DPR Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry said on Tuesday.
“According to the food industry’s 1st quarter review, the production of certain foodstuffs has increased year-on-year,” the Ministry said on its website.
For example, production of sausage increased by 51.1 present, sugar confections by 20.4 percent and sunflower oil by 16.5 perent. The production of poultry, milk, and wheat and rye-wheat flower increased at a more modest rate.
Wheat milling into flour increased by nearly 11.5 percent, the Ministry added.*jk
