Donetsk, Feb 1 - DAN. DPR coal-mining enterprises produced 595,000 tons of coal in the first month of 2018 exceeding the January production target by almost 10 percent, the Republic's Coal and Energy Ministry press service reported on Thursday.
“In January 2018, DPR coal-mining companies of all forms of ownership produced 595,553 tons of coal or 109.8 percent of production target,” the press service said.
Above-target production amounted to over 53,000 tons of solid fuel, it added.
Earlier, the Republic’s Coal and Energy Ministry announced plans to launch at least 11 new coal faces at DPR coal mines. *jk
