Donetsk, Jun 16 — DAN. Potential investors of coal-mining companies in the Donetsk People’s Republic have to present their proposals next week, DPR First Deputy Coal and Energy Minister Vitaly Vlasov said on Friday.
Earlier in the day, Vlasov met with representatives of four coal-mining companies to discuss a draft public private partnership agreement with potential investors. Previously, the parties only met via video-link.
“The companies which plan to lease coal mines had to present a package of documents. All concerned persons must send investment proposals by the end of the next week, and adjust their business plans accordingly, ” the Ministry’s press service quoted Vlasov as saying.
The documents will be forwarded to DPR Acting Head Denis Pushilin for consideration. The investors have to ensure successful operation of the companies they lease and social guarantees for the workforce.
