Donetsk, Oct 17 — DAN. Owners of Russian bank cards can now pay for goods and services at Promsvyazbank (PSB) terminals across the Donetsk People’s Republic, the PSB press service told the Donetsk News Agency on Monday.
“PSB terminals now accept cards of all Russian banks, ” the report said.
PSB installed its terminals in a majority of large DPR chain stores.
All terminals support contactless payments (NFC technology), while the business people who installed them can monitor transactions in real-time to analyze the flow of funds. The DPR currently has more than 700 payment terminals for small and medium businesses.
In early September, PSB enabled the holders of Central Bank cards to carry out operations with PSB banking equipment in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.*jk
