Donetsk, Aug 4 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic has increased the exports of macaroni, confectionery and grain to Russia thanks to President Vladimir Putin’s November decree on the support of Donbass, the DPR Agriculture Ministry told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“In the period from December 2021 through May 2022, we observed a year-on-year increase in the exports of pastry (up 5.8 percent), macaroni (by more than five times) and grain and other agricultural products, ” the press service said.
The increase in exports occurred solely due to the measures to support the region approved by the Russian leader’s decree dated November 15, 2021, the DPR Agriculture Ministry said.
Decree No 657 ordered the Russian government to open Russian markets to goods from the Donbass Republics without applying export/import quotas.*jk
