“Donbass Gazobeton” plans to invest 200 million rubles in the production of aerated concrete for housing and industrial construction, ” the report said. “Project duration is five years. The company’s products will be 15 to 20 percent cheaper than counterpart products in neighboring regions.”
The project is expected to yield 57 jobs. “Antratsit-Region” is another company that joined the Free Economic Zone. It will invest more than 42 million rubles over five years in the modernization of mine transport and ventilation. This project will help create 67 jobs. “Cross gallery and bunker construction will stabilize coal production in the surveyed areas and boost the output of Grade A coal which is used by industrial companies, utilities and the population, ” the Ministry said.
In late June, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a federal law launching a free economic zone in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republic and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The FEZ will operate until January 31, 2050. The Territorial Development Fund was appointed the FEZ managing company.*jk
