Donetsk, Sep 11 — DAN. The volume of easy-term loans for small and medium businesses in the new Russian regions will amount up to ten billion rubles in the next three years, Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said in an interview with the Donetsk News Agency.
“The number of banks providing preferential loans to small and medium businesses will increase soon, ” Reshetnikov said. “We plan to extend up to ten billion rubles worth of preferential loans in three years.”
The Economic Development Ministry takes measures to streamline the loan procedure expanding the list of financial organizations which participate in the program, he said.
Reshetnikov and Promsvyazbank Chairman of the Board Pyotr Fradkov signed the agreement on preferential loans for businesses in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions on the sidelines of the Petersburg economic forum earlier this year.*jk
