Donetsk, Mar 8 — DAN. The “Wagner” private military company has taken control of the left bank of the river Bakhmutka in Artyomovsk, PMC Head Yevgeny Prigozhin said on Wednesday.
“Wagner” PMC units have taken all the eastern part of Bakhmut (Artyomovsk — eds Donetsk News Agency) Prigozhin said in an audio message disseminated by his press service.
As of this moment, PMC fighters control the territory east of the river Bakhmutka, he added.
The Bakhmutka flows from north to south in Artyomovsk dividing the town into two halves.
The Donetsk People’s Republic militia earlier said that the Ukrainian gunmen had been mopped up in the Stupki neighborhood and railroad station area in northern Artyomovsk.*jk
