Donetsk, Mar 9 — DAN. “Wagner” private military company units have taken control of the Dubovo-Vasilyevka village northwest of Artyomovsk, PMC Head Yevgeny Prigozhin said on Thursday.
“The ‘Wagner’ Group fully controls Dubovo-Vasilyevka. Fighting is ongoing in the outskirts, ” Prigozhin’s press service quoted him as saying. “We control the whole territory of the settlement.”
The village is located several kilometers from Artyomovsk next to the road to Slavyansk. The recently liberated villages of Berkhovka and Yagodnoye are located south of Dubovo-Vasilyevka.
Reports on Wednesday said that PMC fighters had taken control of the whole eastern part of Artyomovsk.*jk
