Donetsk, Jul 12 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have fired nearly 350 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic settlements on Tuesday.

Military situation

Ukrainian gunmen shelled the Petrovsky, Kirovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of the DPR capital and Yasinovataya on the Donetsk axis, and Shakhta 6/7, Shakhta Yuzhnaya, Shakhta Rumyantseva, Shakhta Gagarina, Shakhta Izotova, Novobakhmutovka, Ozeryanovka, Shirokaya Balka, Golmovsky, Dolomitnoye, Zaitsevo, Panteleimonovka and Mikhailovka on the Gorlovka axis. The enemy used “Uragan” and “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, 155mm, 152mm and 122mm artillery, mortars and unguided airborne missiles (launched from the ground).

A man and a woman were killed in Gorlovka’s Shakhta Izotova neighborhood, and two men and four women were wounded. Another woman was wounded in Panteleimonovka. Nine houses, a kindergarten and a transmission line were damaged in Gorlovka. The Donetsk Transport Equipment Plant in the Petrovsky district caught fire and a fire broke out at a wood-working shop in Donetsk’s Kirovsky district.

Reports on Tuesday said that Russian coalition troops had killed 391 foreign mercenaries in Ukraine over the past three weeks. Two enemy “Grad” MLRS platoons and two Giatsint-B howitzer platoons were destroyed at Ukrainian fire positions in the Dzerzhinsk area.

The Donetsk People’s Republic is conducting negotiations with North Korea over DPR recognition; representatives of the two countries have already had several meetings.

Two new apartment houses will be built in Volnovakha by the end of this autumn. Each of the two five-storey buildings has an area of 4,000 square meters and contains 20 one-room apartments (with 36 square meters of floor space), 20 two-room apartments (60 sq m) and five three-room apartments (80 sq m).

Pension Fund personnel accepted 121,000 applications from residents of liberated areas for the payment of pensions.

DPR ombudsperson representatives have begun to interact with citizens at face-to-face appointments in Mariupol.
