Donetsk, Apr 19 – DAN. A group of Ukrainian troops triggered their own mines when trying to advance towards Oktyabr, said the head of the DPR People's Militia command press service Daniil Bezsonov.
"At around 6 p.m. two enemy reconnaissance squads of up to 10-12 troops each, of the 79th brigade, attempted to infiltrate the Republic unnoticed outside the Oktyabr village. A number of them triggered their own mines, three service members died, two sustained injuries."
When trying to evacuate the injured, Ukrainian squads suffered more losses: four killed and five injured. As of 7 p.m. one Ukrainian troops remained at the site.
Three DPR service members were killed while repelling the attack. *ot
