Donetsk, Jun 11 - DAN. Ukrainian army units fired 720 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic frontline areas over the past week, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Monday.
“From June 4 till June 10, 720 rounds (two tons) of ammunition were fired at the DPR territory,” Yakubov said.
The JCCC recorded 48 ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces in the reporting period. Five civilians were wounded and 29 houses and five infrastructure facilities were damaged, the JCCC said.
On Monday, at least three civilians were wounded in shelling by Ukrainian forces and new damage to housing and infrastructure was reported.*jk
