Donetsk, Oct 12 - DAN. Ukrainian forces delivered a strike at Bezymennoye village in DPR south on Wednesday evening using multiple launch rocket systems “Grad,” a DPR Operations Command representative said.
“Ukrainian army units are continuing to shell DPR territory; the enemy used MLRS to fire at Bezymennoye village (Novoazovskiy district - eds Donetsk News Agency),” the officer said. “The enemy also used anti-tank guided missiles, mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms to fire at the Republic's frontline areas.”
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 24 times, according to DPR Operations Command information. Thirteen settlements in the Republic came under Ukrainian army units fire.
The previous Ukrainian MLRS strike at DPR territory was recorded on 22 August. Ukrainians “Grads” shelled Bezymennoye village on that day.
The ‘school ceasefire’ has been agreed to by the sides as the new academic year is to begin in Donbass on September 1. It came into force at midnight August 25. *jk
