Donetsk, Aug 30 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire twice over the past 24 hours, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire twice expending six rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
The Golmovskiy settlement in the outskirts of Gorlovka and the Sakhanka village in southern DPR came under fire, he added.
“On Thursday morning, Ukrainian army units delivered a strike at the Nikolayevka settlement in southern DPR,” Yakubov said. “The roof of the house at 13 Shkolnaya Street was set on fire by shelling and burnt down.”
The new truce agreed by the Contract Group for peaceful Donbass conflict settlement on August 22 became effective at 00:01 on Wednesday. According to the JCCC, Ukrainian forces violated the "school ceasefire" three hours after it came into force as they shelled the frontline Golmovskiy settlement in northern Gorlovka.*jk
