Donetsk, Sep 14 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 53 times over the past 24 hours, DPR Operations Command said on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed forces violated the ceasefire 53 times firing at 17 DPR settlements,” a DPR Operations Command representative said.

Ukrainian army units used artillery, tank guns, mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms. A house in a gardening partnership in Yakovlevka village outside Yasinovataya sustained shelling damage.

Tensions on the contact line mounted dramatically on Wednesday evening as Kiev forces delivered massive strikes on Donetsk axis. The northern and western outskirts of the DPR capital came under fire.*jk
