Donetsk, Jul 8 - DAN. Kiev army opened fire at Donetsk People’s Republic areas six times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
“Ukrainian armed formations violated the indefinite ceasefire six times over the past 24 hours,” the report said.
Strikes were delivered at the areas of the Shakhta Trudovskaya and Alexandrovka settlements in western Donetsk and the Vesyoloye village north of the DPR capital. The enemy used grenade launchers and high calibre small arms, the JCCC said.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire once. Two strikes have been recorded since the beginning of the current reporting period.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
