Ukrainian forces violate ceasefire more than 50 times over week - Basurin

Donetsk, Feb 2 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 53 times over the past week, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.

“The enemy violated the ceasefire 53 times over the past week firing 142 82mm and 120mm mortar rounds at DPR territory,” Basurin said.

Fifteen frontline settlements in the Republic came under Ukrainian army units fire; four houses were damaged, he added.

Earlier, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination said Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 15 times over the past 24 hours. *jk
