Donetsk, Apr 30 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire eight times over the past 24 hours shelling Donetsk People’s Republic settlements on the Donetsk and Mariupol axes, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire eight times expending 16 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Strikes were delivered at the airport area in northern Donetsk, the Alexandrovka neighbourhood in the west of the DPR capital and the Kominternovo and Sakhanka villages in the south of the Republic. The enemy used 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms, he added.
The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire five times firing 11 rounds at DPR areas.*jk
