Ukrainian forces violate ceasefire 48 times over 24 hours - DPR Operations Command

Donetsk, Aug 9 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 48 times over the past 24 hours, DPR Operations Command said on Wednesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 48 times using artillery, mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms,” a DPR Operations Command representative said.

Twenty-one frontline settlements in the Republic came under Ukrainian army units’ fire. No casualties were immediately reported.

Earlier reports said five villages in southern Novoazovskiy District were left without electricity and five houses and utility structures were damaged as a result of overnight shelling by Ukrainian forces.*jk
