Ukrainian forces violate ceasefire 17 times over 24 hours, fire 55 rounds at DPR - JCCC

Donetsk, Feb 5 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 17 times over the past 24 hours firing 55 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 17 times expending 55 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Strikes were delivered at Donetsk, its  Trudovskaya Colliery, Staromikhailovka, Zhabichevo and Spartak neighbourhoods and the city airport, Gorlovka’s Shirokaya Balka township and the Leninskoye, Sakhanka and Kominternovo villages in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy employed 82mm and 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 15 times firing 39 rounds at the DPR.*jk
