Donetsk, Nov 6 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 17 times over the past 24 hours firing nearly 280 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 17 times expending 279 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Ukrainian forces targeted the Spartak, Alexandrovka and Staromikhailovka neighbourhoods and the Trudovskaya and Abakumova Colliery villages in the outskirts of Donetsk, Yasinovataya and its adjacent settlements of Krutaya Balka, Mineralnoye, Kashtanovoye and Vasilyevka, the Gagarina Colliery, Golmovskiy and Zaitsevo villages outside Gorlovka and the Leninskoye village in southern DPR. The enemy employed 82mm and 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces expended 120 rounds of ammunition firing at DPR areas.*jk
