Donetsk, Sep 28 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire more than 150 times over the past week, Donetsk People’s Republic Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.

“Over the past week, 157 ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces were recorded,” Basurin said. “The enemy shelled 23 DPR settlements with 171 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds, and also used infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers, large calibre machine guns and small arms.”

Over the reporting period, 15 houses were damaged in the town of Gorlovka and the Kominternovo village in the south of the Republic in shelling by Ukrainian army units, he added.

In the Leninskoye village area, an electric substation was damaged which caused power outages in the southern villages of Sakhanka, Kominternovo, Dzerzhinskoye, Zaichenko and Sergeyevka. The electric substation has been repaired by now.*jk
