Donetsk, Oct 1 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 15 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 50 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 15 times expending 54 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Strikes were delivered at Dokuchayevsk, the Abakumov Colliery neighbourhood in Donetsk, the Luganskoye village in the southwest of the DPR capital, Gorlovka’s Zaitsevo and 6/7 Colliery neighbourhoods and the Kominternovo, Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy used tank guns, 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

Reports on Monday said that a civilian was wounded at the Mayorsk crossing point in Gorlovka in shelling by Ukrainian forces.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces fired 170 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
