Donetsk, Sep 18 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 14 times over the past 24 hours firing 82 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Wednesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 14 times expending 82 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Strikes were delivered at Dokuchayevsk, the Alexandrovka neighbourhood in Donetsk, the Krutaya Balka and Vasilyevka settlements outside Yasinovataya and the Belaya Kamenka, Kominternovo, Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR, he added.
The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces fired more than 80 round of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
