Donetsk, Feb 8 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 120 times over the past week, Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.
“The contact line situation remains tense. Ukrainian army units keep the intensity of strikes at the same level,” Basurin said. “Overall, 120 strikes at the areas of 19 settlements were recorded last week.”
The enemy employed 82mm and 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers, large calibre machine guns and small arms, he added.
Earlier reports on Friday said that Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 16 times over the past 24 hours firing 388 rounds of ammunition at the DPR territory.
