Donetsk, Jan 31 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 12 times over the past 24 hours firing 123 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 12 times expending 123 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Strikes were delivered at Gorlovka and the adjacent Gagarin Colliery village, Yasinovataya and its Krutaya Balka and Vesyoloye neighbourhoods, the Donetsk airport area and Alexandrovka, Zhabichevo and Trudovskaya Colliery in suburban Donetsk, and the Kominternovo and Leninskoye villages in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy employed 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

Earlier reports said that a house burnt down in Kominternovo when Ukrainian forces shelled the village on Wednesday evening.*jk
