Donetsk, 30 May - DAN. Ukrainian forces fired 107 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 11 times expending 107 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Strikes were delivered at the Spartak, Trudovskaya Colliery and Alexandrovka neighbourhoods in Donetsk outskirts and suburbs, the city airport, Gorlovka’s Golmovskiy neighbourhood, Dokuchayevsk and the Sakhanka village in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy used 82mm and 120mm mortars, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. In Donetsk’s Kievskiy district and Dokuchayevsk, a house and utility sheds were damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 14 times firing 219 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
