Donetsk, Apr 11 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 11 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 100 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic areas, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 11 times expending 116 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Kiev forces shelled the Trudovskaya Colliery village in the west of Donetsk, the Spartak village north of the city, the Vasilyevka village north of Yasinovataya, Gorlovka’s Dolomitnoye and Zaitsevo neighbourhoods and the Sosnovskoye and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR, he added.
The enemy used mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces shelled the DPR with 105 rounds of ammunition in 12 ceasefire violations.*jk
