Donetsk, Feb 16 – DAN. Ukrainian army fired nearly 600 rocket projectiles and artillery, tank gun and mortar rounds at ten DPR frontline areas overnight, a DPR defence source told Donetsk News Agency.
“From 6 p.m. to 01:30 a.m. Ukrainian army fired 595 rounds with Grad MLRS, 122mm and 152mm artillery, tank guns, and 82mm and 120 mortars at Volvo Centre premises, Donetsk airport, Yasinovataya outskirts, Spartak, Zhabichevo, Krutaya Balka, Yakovlevka and Vasilyevka villages in Yasinovatskiy district, and Sakhanka and Leninskoye villages in Novoazovskiy district,” the officer said.
It was with Grad MLRS that Yasinovataya outskirts were shelled, he said adding that Ukrainian forces also used infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. *jk
