Donetsk, Sep 20 - DAN. Ukrainian forces on Thursday morning fired mortars at the Leninskoye, Sakhanka and Bezymennoye villages in the Donetsk People’s Republic southern Novoazovskiy district, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said.
“From 6:00 till 6:40, Ukrainian army units deployed in the Vodyanoye village shelled the Leninskoye, Sakhanka and Bezymennoye villages with mortars,” Yakubov said.
“Overall, 31 82mm and 120mm mortar rounds were fired. The Spartak village in northern Donetsk came under grenade launcher and small arms fire from 08:50 till 09:10, he added. Fire was delivered from the Kiev-controlled Avdeyevka.
Earlier reports on Thursday said that Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 22 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 350 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
