Donetsk, Feb 27 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 14 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 60 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory,  the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 14 times expending 62 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the areas of the Donetsk airport (Volvo Centre), the Kashtanovka, Zhabichevo, and Yelenovka settlements and the Spartak village  on the Donetsk axis, the Golmovskiy and Zaitsevo settlements on the Gorlovka axis and the Leninskoye village on the Mariupol axis, the JCCC said.

Earlier reports said that Ukrainian army strikes had left the Yelenovka settlement southwest of Donetsk without electricity. Power supply to Yelenovka has been restored by now.

The enemy used 82mm and 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire eight times on the contact line in Donbass.*jk
