Donetsk, Jan 24 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 15 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 40 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic, Head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 15 times expending 41 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Kiev forces shelled the Volvo Centre in northern Donetsk, the Trudovskaya Colliery village in the west of the city, the Spartak village north of the city, Yasinovataya and the adjacent Vesyoloye and Kashtanovoye villages, Gorlovka’s neighbourhoods Zaitsevo and Gagarin Colliery, and the Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR. The enemy employed 82mm and 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms, he added.
Reports on Wednesday said that the chlorinator building, the feed-through station and the battery room at the Vasilyevka pumping station of the Yuzhnodonbasskiy water duct were damaged in overnight shelling by Kiev forces.*jk
