Donetsk, Aug 21 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire twice over the past 24 hours, firing eight rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic frontline areas, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire twice expending eight rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Yasinovataya outskirts and the Leninskoye village in southern DPR were targeted with 120mm mortars, anti-tank rocket propelled grenade launchers (RPG), recoilless guns (SPG) and small arms.  The shelling damaged a gas pipe at 49 Fabrichnaya Street in he Verkhnetoretskoye settlement, he added.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire seven times firing 36 rounds at DPR frontlines areas.*jk
