Donetsk, Apr 1 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire ten times over the past 24 hours, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Monday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire ten times expending 85 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Fire was delivered at the airport area (Volvo Centre) and the Spartak village in Donetsk’s northern outskirts, the Zaitsevo, Golmovskiy and Dolomitnoye townships outside Gorlovka, Yasinovataya’s Kashtanovoye neighbourhood and the Sakhanka village in southern DPR.

The enemy used 82mm and 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

Earlier reports on Monday said that Kiev forces had shelled the Mikhailovka neighbourhood in Donetsk suburbs with nearly 90 rounds of ammunition including 25 120mm mortar rounds.*jk
