Donetsk, Jul 5 - DAN. Ukrainian forces fired 65 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic frontline areas over the past 24 hours, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.
“Overall, Ukrainian army units expended 65 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Donetsk’s western outskirts, Dokuchayevsk, the northern suburbs of Gorlovka, the Petrovskoye village in Starobeshevskiy district and the Leninskoye, Oktyabrk and Kominternovo villages in the south of the Republic came under Ukrainian forces fire, he added.
The JCCC recorded eight ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces during the reporting period.
A new truce, called “bread” ceasefire, came into effect in Donbass on July 1. Ukrainian forces violated it nine and half hours later.*jk
