Donetsk, Aug 2 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire three times over the past 24 hours firing more than 120 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire three times expending 123 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
The Gagarin Colliery and Dolomitnoye settlements in Gorlovka outskirts, the Luganskoye village outside Donetsk and the Kominternovo village in southern DPR were targeted with grenade launchers and small arms, he added.
Windows in two apartments in 40 Let Oktyabrya Street were shattered in Gorlovka shelling. Earlier reports said that three houses in Kominternovo had been set on fire by Ukrainian army strikes.
The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.*jk
