Donetsk, Sep 7 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory twice over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Monday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire twice,” the report said.

The enemy used small arms on the Donetsk axis and a grenade launcher on the Gorlovka axis. The Volvo Centre area in northern Donetsk and the Krasny Partizan settlement came under fire, the JCCC said.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of hardware, engineer works, use of unmanned aerial vehicles etc., and envisions punishment for violators. *jk
