Donetsk, Aug 6 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the Donbass ceasefire once over the past 24 hours firing small arms at the Shakhta 6/7 settlement in Gorlovka, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire once,” the report said.

Two violations of the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire have been recorded since Wednesday: engineering works near the Shumy settlement and blasts of explosive devices in the Starognatovka village area in southern Donbass, the JCCC said.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures in Donbass came into force on July 27, 2020. A ban is imposed on the use of any armaments, including small mars by Ukraine, the DPR and the LPR, as well as on the deployment of hardware to the frontline, mining and further organizing  of positions.*jk
