Donetsk, Jul 2 – DAN. DPR townships came under Ukrainian fire this morning, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.
The incidents have been reported since 5.40 a.m. Ukrainian forces use 82 mm and 120 mm mortars, as well as 122 mm artillery. At least 65 rounds have been fired.
Mineralnoye and Leninskoye are being targeted, the report reads.
Ukrainian side ignored DPR requests to reinstall ceasefire via the coordination mechanism.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
