Donetsk, Nov 3 – DAN. Ukrainian forces have fired 230 artillery and mortar rounds at the outskirts of Donetsk and Yasinovataya since Wednesday evening, a DPR defence source told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“Ukrainian army units were shelling Trudovskiye and Aleksandrovka villages west of Donetsk, Zhabichevo north of Donetsk and the industrial zone outside Yasinovataya from 18:00 till midnight,” the source said, adding that the areas were shelled with a total of 230 tank gun rounds, 122mm artillery rounds and 82 mm and 120 mm mortar rounds.
In addition to heavy artillery and mortars, Ukrainian forces used infantry fighting vehicles cannons, grenade launchers and small arms.
Earlier, DPR Operations Command reported that the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 440 times in the past 24 hours.
