Donetsk, Sep 24 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire on the contact line with the Donetsk People’s Republic 21 times over the past week, DPR People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.
“Over the past week, 21 ceasefire violations by Ukrainian armed formations were recorded,” Basurin said. “The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.” Fire was delivered at the Lozovoye and Vesyoloye villages and the settlements of Shirokaya Balka, Krutaya Balka, Verkhnetoretskoye Nizhneye, Luganskoye and Yasinovataya on the Donetsk axis, Shakhta Gagarina and Dolomitnoye on the Gorlovka axis and Leninskoye, Novolaspa, Petrovskoye and Oktyabr on the Mariupol axis, he said.
Earlier reports said that a boarding school, a house, a boiler house, a gas pipe and an electrical substation were damaged in strikes at DPR areas. In the week before last, Kiev army units violated the ceasefire 25 times; five civilians were reportedly wounded. *jk
