Donetsk, Mar 31 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 22 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 200 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 22 times expending 233 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the areas of the Trudovskaya Colliery, Alexandrovka, Zhabichevo and Luganskoye settlements, the Spartak village, the Yasinovataya town, the Vasilyevka village and the Volvo Centre on the Donetsk axis, the Bairak, Golmovskiy, Gagarin Colliery, 6/7 Colliery and Zheleznaya Balka settlements on the Gorlovka axis and the Sosnovskoye village outskirts on the Mariupol axis, the JCCC said.

On Monday, two houses were damaged in western Donetsk in shelling by Ukrainian forces. On top of that, Ukrainian army units opened fire at the Vasilyevka 1st level pumping station of the Yuzhnodonbasskiy water duct outside Yasinovataya during shift change.

The enemy used missile systems, 82mm and 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire ten times firing more than 150 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
