Donetsk, Feb 16 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have violated the ceasefire on the contact line with the Donetsk People’s Republic three  times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire three times expending 15 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Fire was delivered at the areas of the Signaloye and Leninskoye villages on the Donetsk and Mariupol axes. The enemy employed 82mm mortars and infantry fighting vehicle cannons, the JCCC said. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire once.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
