Donetsk, Jun 17 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations did not open fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory in the past 24 hours, the DPR People’s Militia reported on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours (from 3:00, June 16 to 03:00, June 17 - eds Donetsk News Agency), no ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces were recorded,” the report said. DPR militiamen continue to monitor the enemy while observing the additional measures to strengthen the indefinite ceasefire.
Meanwhile, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination said that Ukrainian forces opened mortar fire at Donetsk early in the morning after the end of the 24-hour reporting period. Overall, some 20 rounds of ammunition were fired.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
