Donetsk, Jan 9 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the New Year ceasefire eight times over the past 24 hours targeting settlements on Donetsk and Gorlovka axes, DPR Operations Command said on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire eight times using mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms,” a DPR Operations Command officer said.
The enemy shelled Dokuchayevsk, Spartak village north of Donetsk, Krutaya Balka settlement outside Yasinovataya and Zaitsevo neighbourhood in northern Gorlovka. No casualties or damage were immediately reported.
On Monday, one ceasefire violation by the Ukrainian army over 24 hours was reported. *jk
