Donetsk, Dec 23 — DAN. Three civilians were killed and another four were wounded in Kiev artillery attacks at the Donetsk People’s Republic in the period from 6:00, December 22 to 6:00, December 23, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported on Friday.
The fatalities were reported in Donetsk’s Kuibyshevsky district and the settlement of Luganskoye outside Svetlodarsk. Four civilians were wounded as the Petrovsky district of Donetsk and Makeyevka came under fire. At least 13 homes and two infrastructure facilities were damaged in Ukrainian artillery fire.
Overall, the enemy fired 297 rounds of ammunition at the Republic including multiple rocket launcher rounds over the past 24 hours, the JCCC said. Strikes were delivered at Donetsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Kashtanovoye, Krasny Partizan, Novoselovka and Mayorsk.
In the previous 24-hour period, Ukrainian gunmen fired approximately the same number of ammunition rounds at the DPR killing two civilians and wounding another ten.*jk
